I did not divide it by the size of rim but the size of the tyre on that rim.

If I then Build a 10th scale

I want a wheel/tyre Diameter of 135mm (scale looking tyre)

And a axle that when fitted with those tyres is 249mm wide.

Do you know of wheels and axles that fit that specification.

I' am looking to build my own chassis for a 6x6 project. I have found a suppy of alloy 'C' section in various sizes.

6x6mm, 8x13.5mm, 8x8mm, 10x13mm, 10x20mm, 10x23mm, 15x15mm, 20x20mm.

Which size is generally used? or what did you use?

I am hoping to start my 6x6 truck project very soon, I have most of it planned and know the route I am taking except for one thing.

How do I make or modify or get the propshafts to reach the longer wheel base without loosing strength and reliability.

Weight does not seem to be an issue Yet! and as a scale project I dont expect to go over extreem ground.
